For women with an idea they can’t put down

The app you keep describing belongs in the App Store.

What if, by next month, you could send your family and friends a draft of the app you built?

I built mine solo, with ADHD and three kids, in about eight weeks. You get the exact step-by-step, and the year of trial and error it cost me, handed back.

  • 4-week live cohort
  • ten founding seats
  • doors close Sunday, September 6
ThriveMom, built with this method. Live now.
5.0 in the App Store iPhone, iPad, and the web Built in eight weeks

Let me guess

I think I know why you’re here.

You have an idea you can’t put down. You’ve opened a tutorial, felt the fog roll in by minute four, and closed the tab. And under it all, a quiet voice that says you’re just not the technical one.

That voice is wrong, and I can prove it with a path you can actually follow. The idea won’t go away on its own, it only gets quieter. The method in here is the year I’m giving you back.

Heidi, who built ThriveMom.
Heidi

Why this works for you

I almost talked myself out of it. Then I figured it out.

A year and a half ago I had an idea I believed could help moms like me, and every time I searched how to build an app, I wanted to close the laptop and walk away.

So I got obsessed and figured it out the hard way, until it clicked:

  • I stopped trying to learn to code
  • I started learning to create a process to direct the build

You won’t write code from scratch. You’ll direct it and edit what comes back, the way I did.

A year to figure out how. About eight weeks to build it. My app is live now, and I cleared that whole year so you don’t have to.
Yes, I want to build my app

What actually finishes it

The prompts are the easy part.

Claude writes the code, and directing it is the part you pick up fast. What actually finishes an app is everything around the prompts: the right order to build in, real support for the stuck moments, and the tricks you only learn by doing it wrong first. That’s what I’m handing you.

The reason people quit isn’t the building. It’s the one bug at midnight with no one to ask. That moment is exactly what the calls, the group, and the Co-Pilot are built to catch, because it’s the moment that ended my nights too, until it didn’t.

What you’ll do

Twelve milestones, one real launch.

The exact path from an idea to a live app, one real step at a time. You cross each milestone with a thing to show for it, so you always know you’re moving. Each one comes with the templates, checklists, and tools I used at that step, and the story of how it went in my real build, wrong turns included. No guessing what comes next. That guessing is the part that stalls everyone, and it’s the part I took out.

Two of these, getting it running on day one and turning it into a real native build, are the exact steps other courses skip, and they’re where most people stall.

Before the offer

Is this you?

This is for you if

  • You have an app idea you can’t stop thinking about
  • You can write a clear, detailed instruction
  • You’re willing to push through the hard parts
  • You want a real app, not a template or a mockup
  • You’ve been told you’re not technical enough, and you’re ready to prove that wrong

This is not for you if

  • You already build and launch software
  • You want drag-and-drop with no involvement
  • You’re looking for a get-rich-quick shortcut
  • This season truly has no room for a few focused hours a week. That’s timing, not you

You’re invited

The Founding Cohort · starts September 6

Build your app with me.

I’m opening one small first group of the Playbook, and I’d love you in it. Four Sundays, a tiny room, while you build your app from your idea to live in the App Store. You bring the idea and the time; I bring the map, the assets, and four Sundays beside you.

The four weeks

  1. Your idea takes shape. We lock your one sentence, the screens that matter, and set up your tools.
  2. You build the core. The first real version of your main feature, working on your own phone.
  3. You make it real. Accounts, your data, and the polish that makes it feel like a product.
  4. You launch. App Store prep, submission, and what to do if Apple pushes back.

Calls are Sundays at 4:00 pm PT (7:00 pm ET), 30 minutes, recorded. Send your questions ahead of time; every question gets answered, whether you make it live or not.

What happens when you join

  1. My welcome email lands with your sign-in link, and everything unlocks with it: the lessons, every Founder Asset, and the Co-Pilot. You can be building the same day.
  2. Your kickoff-call invite follows, so we book your bonus 20 minutes.
  3. We start together Sunday, September 6.

On a tight budget?

There’s a scholarship seat.

What the alternatives cost

Here’s the honest math.

A freelance developer builds it for you, and you still don’t understand what you got

from $25,000

A coding bootcamp teaches you to be a developer, months of your life, when what you want is your app

from $12,000

One-on-one time with someone who has actually built and launched one

$200+ an hour

The Founding Cohort: you build your own app, with my method, my assets, and me beside youYour path

$497

I won’t put made-up values on my own materials. These are the real prices of the real alternatives, and you can check every one.

Risk is mine.

Everything unlocks the day you join. You read all of it before you decide.

7 days, or until our first call. Whichever comes first, just tell me it isn’t what I promised.

Every dollar refunded. Just fill out a form to help us improve, and no hard feelings.

That’s how sure I am that this works.

Who you become

When your app goes live, something changes.

Today

“Oh, nothing much.”

Someone asks what you’re working on, and you leave the idea out. It still lives in your head, and it feels like nothing to show.

A few weeks from now

“I built this. It’s live. Try it.”

You open your phone, tap an icon you made, and hand it to a friend. Same you, on the other side of doing the thing.

The gap isn’t talent. It’s the path, and the path is what you’re buying. Not a new income. A new sentence about yourself that’s true.

Why now

Apple is closing the door on shortcut apps. Not on yours.

Apple is now rejecting the fragile apps the quick tools produce. What still gets approved is a real one, built the careful way, which is exactly what I teach, because it’s how mine got in. The founding price closes when we start on Sunday, September 6.

Other ways in

Not the cohort? One other door.

If you reliably finish things on your own, the Playbook is enough. If half-finished courses are a pattern for you, the live calls and the small group are the difference, and they’re the reason the cohort exists.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You write prompts. Claude writes the code. You read it, approve it, and get it live. By the end you understand your app well enough to direct it, but you will not write code from scratch.

I’ve bought courses before and never finished them. Why would this be different?

Because a video library doesn’t know your name, and this room does. Ten people, a kickoff call with me before you write a line, a clear finish line at every milestone so you always know your next step, and a small group that notices when you go quiet. I built this for the brain that abandons tutorials, because I have one.

What do I build in?

VS Code, which is free and open source, with Claude added through the Claude Code extension. It is what I use now and what I recommend. If you would rather have an all-in-one paid editor, Cursor works the same and every step is identical.

What do the tools cost?

The core tools are free: VS Code and GitHub. Claude has a free tier to start, and a paid plan, about $20 a month, makes a real build smoother. The one fixed cost is the Apple Developer account, $99 a year, when you’re ready to publish to the App Store.

How long until my app is live?

The four weeks of calls carry you through the build and get you ready to launch on your own. How far you get depends on your app and the hours you can give it, and you finish at your own pace: the Ship Map, the Founder Assets, and the Co-Pilot carry you the rest of the way. The method removes the part that stalls most people: guessing what to do next. Every milestone has a clear finish line, so you always know whether you’ve crossed it or not.

Is building by directing AI actually real?

Fair question. It's how ThriveMom exists: I described what I wanted, reviewed what came back, and edited until it was right, without writing code from scratch. The app is live in the App Store with a 5.0 rating; download it and judge the result yourself. Directing AI is a real skill, and it's the one I teach.

When are the live calls, and what if I miss one?

The live calls are Sundays at 4pm PT (7pm ET), 30 minutes, and we start Sunday, September 6. Every call is recorded, and you send your questions ahead of time: all of them get answered, whether you're there live or not. Your one-on-one kickoff is booked around your week.

What if Apple rejects my app?

Apple rejected me twice. The first time for a missing Terms link, a Sign in with Apple step I’d skipped, and a placeholder logo. The second for asking a name at onboarding that Apple already collects, plus a misconfigured purchase. I traced every single one back to a specific, fixable issue. The App Store Submission Kit turns those patterns into a checklist you run before you submit, so you’re not surprised by the same things I was. If you do get rejected, the Kit walks you through reading Apple’s notes, finding the real issue, and writing the reply.

I don’t have a Mac. Can I still do this?

Yes. One of the Founder Assets walks you through submitting your iOS app from Windows, step by step, no Mac required. If you have a Mac, you’ll use the standard path. Either way, you’re covered.

Is this about making money?

No, and I won’t pretend otherwise. This is about getting a real app you built actually live and in front of people. My own app is free and mission-driven; it makes no money yet. What I can promise you is the ability to get a real app live, not riches. If someone is promising you income, be careful.

Why only ten seats?

Because I run every kickoff and every weekly call myself, and I can only give real attention to a small room. Ten is the number where you still get me, not a broadcast.

Who is this NOT for?

If you already build and launch software, this is too basic. If you want a no-code drag-and-drop builder, this is not that; you work hands-on with Claude, though you will not write code from scratch. It is for you: you have an idea you can’t put down, you’ve been told you’re not technical enough, and you want a real product live, learning from someone who actually did it.

How is this different from a YouTube tutorial?

A tutorial shows a demo built for the camera. This is the real method from a real app that is live, every decision including the wrong ones, with the templates and checklists I actually use, and an AI Co-Pilot trained on all of it so you are never stuck alone.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. At checkout you can split the cohort with Klarna: four interest-free payments of about $125, subject to Klarna’s approval. And there is one scholarship seat each cohort: a free or pay-what-you-can place for when you have the will but genuinely can’t cover the price right now. Just ask.

Still with me?

If you’re still reading.

P.S. You read this far, so the idea really won’t let you go. You can build a real app and get it live, even if someone once told you you’re not technical. You won’t write code from scratch, you’ll direct the build. I did it with three kids and ADHD, and I turned my year of trial and error into a four-week cohort that walks beside you while you build. The Founding Cohort is $497 for this first group of ten, and it starts Sunday, September 6. If it isn’t what I promised, every dollar comes back, 7 days or our first call, whichever comes first, so the real risk is mine. On a tight budget, there’s one scholarship seat, just ask. That’s the map, not the maze.
